Weeding Dub
World renowned in the Dub circles, Weeding Dub is the perfect combination of the Reggae Roots spirit and modern electronic music energy.
After numerous Vinyl releases on various labels since 2004, this producer from Lille (France) naturally became one of the most innovating and original artists of the huge french Dub scene. The 15 original tracks of this new album are without a doubt the ones which will have Weeding Dub recognised as a major artist of the genre.
Through his trademark Sound System esthetics and underground ethics, Weeding Dub combines all influences of the modern reggae. His creativity combined with his inventiveness gives birth to a very pleasant and dancefloor orientated music, in between digital Reggae and Dub stepper.
Weeding Dub’s style is both modern and classic, finding inspiration in the roots Jamaican music as well as more contemporary sounds.
This ingenious, well orchestrated music is an ideal playground for the 7 singers participating to this album. The sheer diversity of their vocal styles is offering a fresh and light counterpart to the unstoppable instrumental rhythms.
“Inna Digital Age” is part of a free and ever-growing worldwide musical movement. Produced for a mainstream audience, this album connects the pure Reggae lovers with the ones that only swear by Dub stepper.
After 10 Years of activism and live performances all over France and even the World, Weeding Dub is obviously the missing link between Mad Professor and Zion Train, especially with this new album…
